First payment

A bounty is recorded when that customer's first subscription invoice is paid. Payout waits out a 30-day cooling period.

Hybrid bounty

Floor, rate, and cap

Creators and agencies earn one bounty on the customer's first successful payment. The formula uses a minimum (floor), a share of that invoice (rate), and a maximum (cap).

Floor
The minimum you earn. Creators $75; agencies $100. Protects you when the first invoice is a monthly Production signup.
Rate
Creators 50% of first-invoice net; agencies 60%. If that share is higher than the floor, you get the higher amount.
Cap
The maximum on that one bounty — $1,000. Large annual invoices cannot go above the cap.

bounty = min($1,000, max(floor, rate × first invoice net))

  • Production $49/mo (typical creator referral) — 50% of $49 is about $24.50, which is below the floor, so you receive $75. Even with the customer's 15% promo, the first invoice is smaller — the floor still pays $75.
  • Scale $199/mo — 50% of $199 is about $99.50, above the $75 floor, so you receive about $99.50.
  • Large first invoice (e.g. annual Scale) — the rate can climb well above the floor, but never past the $1,000 cap.

Newsletters use a flat $50 CPA (no hybrid). One bounty per customer, then the 30-day cooling period — not a recurring cut of every invoice.

How your audience redeems

Show them this path once. The discount applies on Stripe Checkout — not inside the Kimss product shell.

  1. Open pricing and pick a plan

    Go to kimss.ai/pricing (or your /go link) and choose Production or Scale.

  2. Click “Add promotion code”

    On the secure Stripe checkout page, use the promotion-code control.

  3. Enter your partner code

    Type KIMSS-<HANDLE>. The price drops 15% for the first 3 months. (Tracked-link visits still attribute you even if they skip the code.)

  4. Pay — you get credited

    When their first subscription invoice is paid successfully, your one-time bounty is attributed automatically.

Fine print: first-time checkout only for the discount; codes expire on a quarterly rotation; Azure Marketplace purchases cannot be attributed through this program.

Do I need a Kimss product account?
No. Partners sign in on this site with a one-time email link. You do not need the Kimss workspace or Microsoft signup.
What plans can my code apply to?
Production and Scale only. Marketplace subscriptions cannot be attributed through this program.
Where does my audience enter the code?
On Stripe Checkout after they pick Production or Scale at kimss.ai/pricing. They click Add promotion code, type your KIMSS-<HANDLE> code, and the 15% discount applies for the first 3 months. Newsletters can share kimss.ai/go/<HANDLE> instead. See How your audience redeems.
What do I actually say about Kimss?

Does a Forge install count as a conversion?
No. pip install kimss-forge does not hit Kimss. Only your kimss.ai/go/HANDLE link or the promo code attributes a signup or bounty.
How long until a bounty pays?
Clicks and signups show the same day. A bounty can take 60+ days: the no-card trial, then a first paid invoice, then a 30-day cooling period. We do not pay for signups.
How do payouts work?
One bounty per customer after their first successful payment. Creators from $75; agencies from $100; newsletters $50 CPA. Hybrid floor can rise with annual first invoices.
